On March 1st 2019 Broadale dental practice attended the Irish Dentistry Awards in the Mansion House in Dublin where Dr. Derek Mulcahy was awarded the prestigous "Irish Dentistry's Outstanding Contribution 2019".
Derek is delighted to have recieved this award recognising his contribution to Irish dentistry and everyone at Broadale Dental Practice is proud of what he has achieved over the years. The award is thouroughly deserved.

Ashling O' Leary began her nursing career working as a dental nurse HSE. She gained a lot of experience travelling to different clinics and working with Special Needs in Cope Foundation. She spent a year working in St.Finbarr's hospital in the orthodontic department and also worked in the CUH research department before joining Broadale Dental Practice 22 years ago. Ashling qualified as a dental nurse in 1998.
Aisling qualified as a dentist from University College Cork in 2004. She subsequently completed a 3 year diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies with the University of Bristol.
She has worked as a general dentist in the U.K and Australia before returning home to Cork where she has been working in general dental practice since.
In addition, Aisling has completed further training in anti-wrinkle injections and dental fillers , including lip enhancements and botox. She attends many training days abd courses in this rapidly growing area. She believes in bespoke treatment plans to achieve subtle enhancements.
Arran graduated from UCC in 1994 with her diploma in dental hygiene. She joined our practice in June 2020. She is one of our Senior Nurses, with plenty of experience in the dental field. She has worked a lot with facial aesthetics.

Marina graduated from UCC in 2001 and moved to work in a busy general practice in the UK for the next 11 years, where she gained a vast amount of experience. While in London, she has taken further courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Returning to Cork with her family in 2012, she has worked in a busy Cork City practice.
Marina is a gentle and caring dentist who aims to provide excellent dental care to all the family. She enjoys all aspects of her work and has a special interest in prevention, and in treating nervous patients. As a mother of three she is passionate about helping children feel comfortable in the dental environment and educating them about their oral health.
Marina is committed to continued professional development and keeps up to date with dental literature.
